Virtual Therapy

Welcome to the world of virtual therapy! You might think this would be too cold or distant compared to in-person therapy, but I believe you will be pleasantly surprised when you try it. I normally ask for a 10- to 15-minute phone call before making an appointment with a potential client to make sure I can help you. Given the times we are in, I am now open to having this first meeting via video if you would prefer it. This gives you a chance to try it out.

I use an encrypted video service made especially for psychologists’ and have held virtual therapy sessions for a few years now without a problem. The sessions, therefore, are encrypted, private and confidential, with no interruptions.

It is super simple to get started for use on your desktop computer or your laptop, and with a free app, your phone. You can use whichever device works best for a session depending on where you are located at the time of your appointment. You sure can’t do this with office visits!

Virtual therapy sessions, just as in-office sessions are not saved or recorded. I send you a link in advance with the time and date. Just click on the link at the time of your appointment, and I’ll meet you virtually online.

You can sit anywhere you like, as long as I can hear you and see you without any difficulty. A good internet connection matters most.

If you have any questions or want to make an appointment, please contact me through my contact page or email-directyourbrain@kimberlywulfert.com I work with individuals, adult men and women, 21- 80 years old.

To find out more about my mindfulness-based approach see the tabs above or click here.

Please note, you must reside in the State of California, as that is where I am licensed to practice psychotherapy. Coaching has no such limitations, but it can not substitute for therapy to get around that. They are not interchnageable.

After you make your appointment, I will send you a link to open your portal and fill in the required history and forms prior to beginning therapy.

My clients have found many advantages to meeting virtually as have I. I will continue to practice this way for the foreseeable future.

Thank you for your time and consideration while visiting my website. I’m happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have.

May you be well.
